CNBM Shares Views on Smart Manufacturing and Global Expansion at “News Teahouse” Dialogue
On January 21, the 188th “News Teahouse,” a media dialogue hosted by the All-China Journalists Association, was held in Beijing under the theme “Harnessing Intelligence for the Future and Empowering the Global Supply Chain.” Wang Yumeng, Vice President of China National Building Materials Group (CNBM), attended the event as a corporate representative and engaged in dialogue with Chinese and international media.

During the session, Wang briefly introduced CNBM’s approach to upgrading the materials industry through smart manufacturing and digital technologies, emphasizing its commitment to serving infrastructure development and global markets. In response to media inquiries, Wang addressed CNBM’s practices and perspectives from three key aspects: smart manufacturing, the application of artificial intelligence, and the Group’s global development strategy.
The event brought together representatives from four Chinese enterprises and nearly 80 journalists from domestic and international media outlets, providing a platform for direct exchange between enterprises and the media on the future of manufacturing and industrial cooperation.
Following the dialogue, the media delegation visited the exhibition “Forging the Path to National Strength China’s Manufacturing Achievements under the 14th Five-Year Plan,” hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and held at the National Museum of China. Representatives from CNBM-affiliated companies introduced 21 new materials on display and gave on-site interviews to the media, highlighting CNBM’s role in supporting the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing sector.
